4.2 Token Utility and Fees

Protocol Fees

Circulex charges a minimal fee (e.g., 0.05% of the X402 transaction value) for minting and maintaining the SBT registry. This fee sustains the Listener Network and contract maintenance.

Token Utility

While detailed tokenomics are external, the $RTC token serves to:

1. Fee Discount: Grant fee reductions on the SBT minting service.

2. Governance: Provide voting rights over core protocol parameters (e.g., supported blockchains, maximum SBT duration).
